Your stay
Where is Mountain House Lodge?
At 23860 N 125th Place, Scottsdale, AZ 85255, inside Sereno Canyon, a private gated community in North Scottsdale at the foot of the McDowell Mountains. Phoenix Sky Harbor is about an hour away by car.
What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is from 3:00 pm and check-out is by 11:00 am, Arizona time. Ask about an early arrival or a late departure and we'll do our best.
Is there a minimum age?
The guest checking in must be 21 or older.
Can I bring my dog?
Pets aren't allowed in the casitas at the moment. Service animals are welcome.
Is there a front desk?
Yes. The front desk at the Lodge is staffed 24 hours a day, and the concierge can arrange anything you need before or during your stay.
Is parking included?
Yes. Valet parking is free for casita guests.
Is smoking allowed?
No. The casitas and the Lodge are smoke-free.
The Lodge
What can casita guests use?
The resort pools and hot tub, the fitness center, the lobby bar and fire pits, the 24-hour front desk and concierge, and Alterra, the Lodge's restaurant. Spa treatments at the Serenity Spa are booked separately.
Are the pool cabanas included?
Cabanas are first come, first served.
Is there a restaurant?
Yes. Alterra is the Lodge's restaurant and bar, a short walk from every casita, with New American cooking and seats inside or on the covered terrace.
What can the concierge arrange?
Tee times, spa appointments, dinner reservations, airport transfers, guided hikes and jeep tours, groceries before you arrive, and private dinners for your group. Ask when you book so we can plan ahead.
Events and groups
Can we host a wedding or a retreat at the Lodge?
Yes. We host weddings, corporate retreats, celebrations and private dinners, with food by Alterra's kitchen and the casitas for your guests. Tell us your date and group size on the request form.
Can we book all six casitas?
Yes. Send us your dates on the contact page and we'll hold all six for your group and plan the rest of the stay with you.
Booking
How do I book?
Choose your dates and tap Check availability. You'll see live rates for every casita and can book in a couple of minutes. For several casitas, an event or anything unusual, send us a note on the contact page.
Is it better to book direct?
Booking direct means no third-party booking fees, the best available rate, and the same team looking after you from booking to check-out.
What is the cancellation policy?
It depends on the rate you choose. The cancellation and deposit terms for your rate are shown before you book and in your confirmation email.
